Sacred Heart will resound with the sounds of great music as University of Wisconsin-Superior chamber ensembles present “An Afternoon of Chamber Music” on Sunday, April 18 at 3:00 p.m. Erin Aldridge and the UW-Superior String Quartet will present Dvorak’s delightful “America Quartet” (op. 96). The UW-Superior Women’s Ensemble (Becky Farmer, director) will present Frank Martin’s “Lord’s Prayer.” Dr. Matthew Faerber will direct the UW-Superior Chamber Choir and soprano Dr. Vicki Fingalson in a performance of Benjamin Britten’s moving cantata, “Rejoice in the Lamb” (op. 30). Other soloists include alto Jeven Parask, tenor Jared Martin, and baritone Eric Williams. The Chamber Choir will be joined by organist Rachael Peyton Cushing.
