Sacred Heart Recording Studio
Sacred Heart Music Center also houses the Sacred Heart Studio, a nationally recognized recording studio. The studio features a large selection of vintage analog and modern digital equipment including both a 24 track tape machine and a 32 track Pro Tools recording system. Two grand pianos, Hammond organ with Leslie cabinet, a selection of vintage guitar amps and the Felgemaker pipe organ are all available for use as well.
We have recorded everything -- punk rock, rock and roll, alternative and indie bands, string quartets, choral groups, country bands, acapella singers, experimental and ambient ensembles, orchestras and jazz bands.
The magnificent acoustics of the buildings’ main sanctuary are complimented by some other truly creative and inspiring spaces to play in -- confessionals, choir loft, vestibule, altar, bell tower, bathrooms with marble walls and tile floors, high ceilings and ornate stained-glass windows and other rooms each with its own sound and ambience.
Sacred Heart Recording Studio is an ideal location for tracking, mixing or mastering your recording project or CD. You might even be inspired to record and film a live concert video in the studio like the Crash Test Dummies did!
